Measuring for a Stainless Steel Metal Dog Crate Pan:

• If you don't know the model of the dog crate and have an existing dog crate tray - measure the dog crate pan length and width from edge to edge.
  
• So you don't have an existing dog crate tray to measure. Measure the width of the opening where the dog crate tray slides into the bottom front of the dog crate. This is the width.  Allow about 1/4-inch for the pan to slide into the crate smoothly (ex: if the opening is 24-1/2-inch then 24-1/4-inch should be good).  Next, measure the maximum length the dog crate pan can be when the dog crate pan slides into the dog crate. Remember to look for any obstructions (wire or dog crate pins) when measuring the length and make sure the dog crate pan door can be closed. This is the Length.  Most pans are 1-inch deep but some crates do allow for a deeper pan.  Measure the height of the opening where the pan slides into the dog crate allowing enough room for the pan to slide into the crate smoothly.
